Transit Visa

Transit Visa limited to sightseeing, leisure and rest. Applicants must be those traveling on to a third country from another country via Japan who wishes to stay in Japan for a short period.  Australians no longer need a visa to transit in Japan on their way to a third country provided the transit period is no more than 90 days.  The traveler’s Australian passport must remain valid during the period of transit but there is no minimum period of validity required.
