9 New Specialized Zones Crowning IJT's 20 Years
of Expansion
With just a few months left until the opening of the
20th International Jewellery Tokyo (IJT2009) in January,
show organizer Reed Exhibitions Japan confirmed that
once again IJT will be breaking its own record. Of the
1,760 exhibitors set to participate in IJT2009, 200
will be first time exhibitors. Also international presence
will be reinforced by the 600 international exhibitors
participating from 35 countries worldwide. Thus, to
accommodate the growing number of participants and their
wide range of exhibits, Show Management announced their
special plans for the launch of 9 new specialized zones
that signify the quality and size of the show.
9 Specialized Zones Expand Business Opportunities
at IJT
To accommodate the wide range of exhibits by increasing
exhibitors, Show Management will launch 9 new specialized
zones in addition to the existing Diamond World, Designers
& Craftsmen Pavilion, Silver & Costume Jewellery Zone,
Gemstones Plaza, ODM/OEM Zone, and Jewellery Reform
Zone. These new zones will provide buyers with a better
lineup of jewellery products to choose from as well
as offer them the best purchasing environment, and for
exhibitors, a better positioning within the show to
increase their opportunities of meeting their target
buyers.

Exhibitors' comments from IJT 2008 (Excerpt)
Contracts with 20 companies!
-------- Gebrueder Schaffrath GmbH (Germany)
Throughout the 4 day show period, 100 serious potential buyers visited our booth. We met better buyers than last year, being mostly retailers and wholesalers. We will definitely participate again next year, and hope to promote Sri Lanka's sapphires to the Japanese market.
70 leads with qualified buyers!
-------- Think Factory (Korea)
The response from visitors was very good. The total sales onsite reached USD 30,000, and we expect more to come. Apart from Japanese buyers, we have met buyers from Korea and USA and had very good leads. By participating in IJT 2008, we realised Japan is a high potential market.
Expecting USD 250,000 in sales!
-------- Waisum (Hong Kong)
