No need to activate. All Myjapanphone devices are post-paid
phones, and have years contract with carriers. It allows
non-stop connection; you can use it as soon as you get
it.
Q: How can I make calls? How can my colleague or relatives
to call me? [Myjapanphone]:
When you make calls, please follow the dialing instruction

Q: What is the coverage area? [Myjapanphone]:
In Japan, connections may not work if you are underground,
in tunnels or mountainous areas.
Q: How do you fix bad connections inside the calling
area? [Myjapanphone]:
Power off the phone, wait a few minutes and then turn
it back on. Powering on will start a new connection.
Q: Does the cell phone have voice mail function? How
to use it? [Myjapanphone]:
Yes. All our phone lines cover the function of voice
mail. Please check carefully the instruction book for
detail directions to use voice mail. Please make sure
you use the voicemail in correct way, or else your family
and friend could not get in touch with you in time.

We will examine every device before we send out. However,

Only 3G BlackBerry is able to work in Japan, which means
your BlackBerry model should be or later than BlackBerry
8707 version that can be used under Japanese high-tech

Q: My Company has a BES server; does Myjapanphone BlackBerry
able to connect to my BES server? How to configure it? [Myjapanphone]:
Yes. Our BlackBerry has ability to access both BES (BlackBerry
Enterprise Server) and BIS (BlackBerry Internet Server)
Server.
To configure the device, your IT administrator ought
to assign an email account and password, by using that
information for enterprise activation, the BlackBerry
will sync to your working account shortly.
Q: What does unlimited data usage include? [Myjapanphone]:
BlackBerry unlimited bundle include email and internet
browsing, but if you are using the BlackBerry device
as a modem with a laptop for internet access, this is
not included.

Q: How to calculate my rental start and end date? How
to figure out pick-up and drop-off date on the order
form? [Myjapanphone]:
Your rental starts on the date you receive phone, and
end on the date you return phone. When order online,
please figure out the date you want to receive phone
and the date you schedule to return phone, your final
charge would base on that.
Q: How many days to receive my phone?

The standard shipping usually takes 7 days; express
order could be with three days.
Q: How do I apply for a device? [Myjapanphone]:

Q: Can I choose the brand, model or color of my phone?

Our system will automatically assign the phone when
you order online. Usually we don¨t offer choice of brand,
model and color of rental phone. While you can indicate
your preference of phone; our staff will try their best
to help you.
Q: Can I get my phone number before leaving? [Myjapanphone]:
Yes. Usually you will be informed via email your phone
number five days before your departure.
- Delivery & Return
Q: How will I receive my rented cell phone? [Myjapanphone]:
Your rental phone can be delivered either to your address
in the United States, or anywhere in Japan.
Q: Can you deliver my phone to the airport?
[Myjapanphone]:
Sorry, because of expensive cost and complicated process
to deliver phones to airport, Myjapanphone does not
offer it.
Q: How do I return the phone at the end of my trip?
[Myjapanphone]:
You can easily return the phone with a prepaid envelope
while still in Japan ($15 for Japan returning), or you can mail it to the Myjapanphone
US office after you return home (by your own expense).
- Billing
Q: Why my credit card had been holding $200 for Myjapanphone
cell phone order? When can I get the amount refunded?
[Myjapanphone]:
For each cell phone order, our system will automatically
place a $200 authorization on your credit card. An authorization
is different from a deposit because the funds are not
actually taken from the account. Your bank will place
a "hold" or "freeze" of funds against your credit card's
available account balance. It is similar to when a bank
places a "hold" on a check you want to cash. Once the
authorization is released, the funds are then available
to be used. Authorizations are automatically released
within 30 days.
Q: Is there any cancellation fee?
[Myjapanphone]:
If the rental be cancelled before the phone shipped,
there is $10 cancellation fee. Once the cancellation
occurred after package sent out, $20 will apply to your
final bill.
Q: What happens if the phone is loss, stolen or damaged?
[Myjapanphone]:
If you are unlucky to lose or damaged your phone during
the period your order covered, please report immediately
to Myjapanphone at 1-800-553-9057 (US)/0066-33-80658(Japan)
or service@Myjapanphone.com.
Q: Can I get itemized bill after rental? Can I get formal
invoice of my usage for reimburse? [Myjapanphone]:
Yes. The itemized bill will be sent to you via email
after your rental.
If you want formal invoice, please inform Myjapanphone.
Q: When will I receive my bill? [Myjapanphone]:
The bill is usually sent to you the middle of next month
after rental.
